July 26th/27th-Mendip Mix.Staying at the Wessex
Saturday: Thrupe lane swallet (SRT) / GB (non SRT). Barbecue in the evening.
Sunday: Swildon’s hole, specific trip requests within Swildons Are welcome.
August 16th/17th/18th-Yorkshire winch meet, (Courtesy of Craven PC)
Saturday: SRT in at Disappointment pot and winch out, Partakers in variations of this trip shall not be disowned. Note: Winch costs £10.00.
Sunday: Lancaster to County exchange.
Monday: Nott’s pot 2
September 13th/14th-Forest of Dean. Camping Locally.
Saturday: Kayaking on the Wye (river permitting). Hoarwithy to Kerne bridge.
Sunday: Otter Hole. The early bird catches the tide! Slaughter Stream, the 2nd alternative, if you don’t like mud. We will also bring a ladder for those of you with rusty SRT gear.
October 1st/ 31st-DIY: We are giving you all a well, deserved break
November 1st/2nd-Bonfire Weekend.
Saturday: DYO trip, weather / water levels permitting. OFD 2 as a backup. Followed by the bonfire and fireworks in the evening. As always a barrel and basic rations will be organised.
Sunday: After a barrel the night before, I am not going to attempt to get people up early to go caving. Trips for Sunday will be of your own creation.
December 6th/7th-Curry Night, and local caving.
Saturday: Ogof Cynnes and Blaen Onneu Quarry Pot. The yearly curry event just goes from strength to strength. Bring a HOME MADE! Curry along, Beer shall be made available to the worthy!
January 31st/1st-AGM Dinner Weekend.
Saturday: Daren Cilau / Prices through trip, now that the sump/duck has been successfully passed.
Dinner in the evening shall be at the Ty Croseo Hotel.
Sunday: Annual general meeting
For any of the away meets, and the yearly dinner I will need to know how many people are interested. Please let me know as soon as possible, so that I can book accommodation / permits etc.
Dan Yr Ogof - The club has two cave leaders in Stuart France and Paul Tarrant. Contact them if you want to arrange trips in this superb cave.
Ogof Craig Y Ffynnon - Access to this system is now managed by the Llangattwg Cave Management Committee.
